What our estimates do and don't cover
Calculators apply the standard rest-of-UK rules stated on each page. They don't account for every allowance, relief, Scottish income tax bands (unless a page says otherwise), basis-period quirks, or interactions unique to your affairs. A figure here is a planning aid — your Self Assessment, your software or your accountant produces the definitive number.
